About Trish

I am afraid that currently, I have a waiting list for evening appointments;  I am unable to offer evening appointments until the end of  September 2022, my apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

I have now returned to seeing clients in my counselling room, but we can also meet online or via telephone.

There has been a belief that remote sessions offer something less,  but this way of meeting has provided other opportunities and possibilities for those I have supported. Meetings happen via Zoom, Skype or Facetime.

Hello, my name is Trish. I am an experienced and professionally qualified therapeutic counsellor working in private practice within the King’s Lynn – West Norfolk area.

I have been counselling for over 17 years and seeing clients privately for 14 years. I have helped with a range of issues by offering short-term and long-term counselling. At the heart of almost all of my professional work has been the commitment to help others, working within the public sector and then within charitable organisations –

Dhiverse is a sexual health charity- in Cambridgeshire, Support worker
The Matthew Project West Norfolk (Drug Support worker)
A Mental Health Charity based in West Norfolk as a counsellor and group facilitator.

I truly believe one of the most important questions you can ask another is not what’s wrong, but what has happened to them? Often that’s where our struggles begin.

During sessions we try to understand and unpack beliefs and narratives that have been learnt and followed possibly for some time .

Of course, some of these narratives and ways of being may have served you well, but sometimes, maybe not so much.

In our time together we create curious conversations , as we talk I listen without judgement to see if there might be ways to approach things differently. So that you can begin to live the life you would choose for yourself.
